This is Hatha as it was meant to be felt – a practice where breath and movement weave together, where strength meets softness, and every pose becomes a conversation with your body.
We move slowly here, with purpose. Traditional postures unfold alongside mindful breathing, each transition designed to steady both body and mind. You’ll build resilience in your muscles while cultivating quiet in your nervous system – the kind of balance that lingers long after you roll up your mat.
Alignment matters, but so does intuition. This is your time to explore, to notice, to let your body guide you toward what it needs most. You may be new to yoga or simply deepening your practice, these classes meet you where you are and leave you feeling centered, grounded, and deeply at home in yourself.
In these classes, we move at the rhythm of your breath - slowly, consciously, with space to truly inhabit each posture. This is where strength meets stillness, where every movement becomes meditation.
As we flow through traditional asanas, you'll discover:
This class is open to all levels. Whether you're returning to practice, seeking a gentler pace, or wanting to deepen your connection to movement and breath, Hatha Yoga offers space to meet yourself exactly where you are.

This 8-week Hatha Yoga course offers a nurturing and comprehensive introduction to the original form of yoga. Designed especially for beginners, it’s also ideal for anyone returning to their practice or seeking a deeper connection to the roots of yoga.
Each week, you’ll be guided through gentle postures, breath awareness, and relaxation techniques that cultivate flexibility, build strength, and calm the nervous system. Beyond the physical, we explore how yoga supports emotional balance, clarity of mind, and a stronger connection to self.
You’ll be introduced to the fundamental principles of Hatha Yoga in a supportive, inclusive environment that honours yoga as a holistic lifestyle practice — not just a physical exercise.
This is a donation-based course ($80 total), with all proceeds supporting a grassroots charity in India that funds education for children learning Sanskrit — the ancient language in which all original yoga texts were written.
By participating, you’re not only nurturing your own well-being, but also contributing to the preservation of a sacred tradition and empowering future generations to keep the essence of yoga alive.
Let this course be the beginning of a beautiful journey into the heart of yoga.
Let go of the weight you didn’t even realise you were carrying.
This is your invitation to pause. To soften. To remember what it feels like to be deeply supported physically, emotionally, and energetically.
We’re honoured to present a deeply restorative Yin + Sound Healing Experience, co-created with the wonderful Jo from Boho Buddha Wellbeing, a gifted sound healing facilitator known for her immersive sessions across retreats, festivals, wellness spaces and even SA’s only Himalayan Salt Cave.
This is a small, intimate event curated for deep nervous system reset, reflection, and reconnection.
You’ll begin with Yin Yoga, a slow and nourishing practice where each posture is held for several minutes. Supported by bolsters and props, this practice targets the fascia and connective tissues, allowing tension to unravel from deep within. You’ll be guided through long, grounded shapes designed to release stagnation and encourage emotional and physical ease.
As your body begins to soften, you’ll be led into Sound Healing — a meditative sound journey using crystal bowls, chimes, and other vibrational instruments. These healing sounds gently guide you into a deep state of rest, shifting brainwave patterns and inviting the nervous system to fully relax.
Together, Yin + Sound create a layered experience of calm, connection, and spaciousness.
This 2-hour event is designed as a full reset for the nervous system:
Yin Yoga (1 hour)
We begin with a deeply restful Yin practice — long-held floor poses supported by bolsters and props to release deeply stored tension. This practice targets the connective tissue and fascia, allowing the body to unwind and the breath to deepen. It’s quiet, meditative, and incredibly grounding.
Sound Healing (1 hour)
As the body softens, we transition into a guided sound healing journey. Crystal bowls, chimes, and vibrational instruments will bathe the space in calming frequencies, encouraging deep rest and emotional balance. You’ll remain resting in savasana, fully supported, as the soundscape unfolds.
Sharing Circle with Tea + Treats
To close the evening, we’ll come together for a simple, gentle sharing circle. Nothing is required — this is simply a space to reflect and connect if you feel called. Complimentary tea and nourishing treats will be served.
This isn’t just a yoga class or a sound bath. It’s an intentionally curated journey. One that invites you to fully unplug, recalibrate, and receive.
Whether you’re navigating burnout, emotional heaviness, tightness in your body, or simply longing for a quiet space to land, this offering was created for you.
Jo’s sound healing sessions have touched hundreds of people across the state and have had a particularly profound impact on children and adults alike with noticeable shifts in emotional regulation, anxiety levels, and sleep quality. Her work has been recognised with a 2024 Adelaide Fringe award, and we are thrilled to bring her presence back to our Blackwood space.

Vinyasa Foundations is all about slowing down the flow so you can learn key postures, transitions, and breathing techniques. You’ll explore the building blocks of a Vinyasa practice, gaining tools that will support you in both beginner and more advanced classes.
This class is perfect for beginners, those returning to yoga after a break, or anyone wanting to revisit the basics with fresh eyes. All levels are welcome, and variations are always offered to meet you where you are.Join us for Vinyasa Foundations with Lania, and discover the joy of moving with your breath in a way that feels empowering, mindful, and deeply grounding.
For this week only, we’re bringing practice into a more intimate setting and opening our home to you. Our front room has beautiful bay windows overlooking the park: a calm and welcoming space where you can move, breathe, and unwind together in community.
This Vinyasa class is designed to gently strengthen and stretch the body while helping you release the day and reconnect to yourself. Expect a creative flow that balances effort with ease, leaving you feeling grounded, open, and refreshed.
We know this is a little different from our usual setup, but that’s also what makes it so special, sharing the practice in a smaller, cozy environment where connection feels effortless and personal.
Our street is a short cul-de-sac with limited parking available. If you can’t find a space close by, there’s a small carpark just across the park (a short walk from our home). Victoria Street also has plenty of parking options nearby.
This is a unique chance to practice Vinyasa in a peaceful home setting, with the same care and attention as our studio classes.
Come as you are, flow with us, and leave feeling nourished and supported.
