Amy and Inderjit, the heart and soul behind our offerings, discovered their innate gift in sharing the transformative practices of yoga, meditation, and fostering meaningful relationships. Our commitment to these practices extends beyond teaching – it's a genuine passion that we wholeheartedly embrace.
With a soothing demeanor, Amy skillfully guides students through self-inquiry and the art of yoga. Drawing from over two decades of meditation experience, Inderjit brings profound wisdom from his upbringing among monks in the village of Punjab, India.
Together, we've cultivated a nurturing space for you to blossom and evolve. Our approach is rooted in authenticity, serving from the heart, and embracing individuals from all walks of life. Join us on this journey of growth, self-discovery, and holistic well-being – where the teachings we share are a reflection of the love we have for what we do. Welcome to a space where you are truly valued and connected in community.
Are the yoga classes suitable for beginners?
Yes! The vinyasa classes are suitable for anyone looking for a movement class. We are able to modify the sequence for any injury and to suit your fitness level. As a beginner, it is recommended to book a 1:1 session to address any queries and go through some foundational poses. Each vinyasa class has a gentle warm up, flow sequence, balancing, stretching and relaxation. So you always know that stretching and relaxation is coming at the end of the class :)
Can you modify the poses for an injury?
Absolutely! Wellbeing and safety are very important for you to be able to enjoy yoga. We are able to give modifications to your practice to support your body in the best possible way. If you have a specific injury or health concern, please inform us before the class begins. We will work closely with you to offer alternative poses and modifications, ensuring a safe and enjoyable practice. Our goal is to create an inclusive and supportive environment where everyone can experience the benefits of yoga, regardless of their physical condition. Your comfort and safety are our top priorities.
Do you have props? What should I bring to class?
Yes we have blocks and bolsters as props. We have cleaning products to use for after the practice. If you have any of your own props you're welcome to bring them too.
Please bring your own mat, a drink bottle to stay hydrated, comfortable active wear and an open mind for practice! It is recommended to practice without your socks on.
